Vivo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has finally launched the much-anticipated Y31L in India at INR 9450. The Vivo Y31L, successor to the Vivo Y31 smartphone, is the India-spec variant of the Vivo Y31A, that recently launched in China. The new 4G-enabled Y31L smartphone by Vivo is now available to buy in Black and White colours.
Talking about the specs, the Vivo Y31L is a dual-SIM supporting smartphone that runs FunTouch OS 2.1, based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The handset features a 4.7-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) resolution IPS display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, clubbed with 1GB RAM and Adreno 306 GPU and packs 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB). The Vivo Y31L on the connectivity front features 4G, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM radio, and Micro-USB.
On the imaging front, the smartphone, sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash, along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone camera can record and playback videos in full-HD resolution.
The Vivo Y31L measures 137.2×68.7×8.3mm, weighs 133 grams and is backed by a 2200mAh battery. The device also supports accelerometer, proximity sensor, and light sensor.
The Vivo Y31L boasts metal frame runs around the rim of the device, and the back panel is made of soft touch plastic for a comfortable grip. It also comes with Vivo exclusive features like Super Screenshot, Smart Wake 2.0, Smart Shot, Palm Capture and more.
The smartphone will be available in online and offline retail channels by the end of this month. At the given price tag, the smartphone comes with pretty average specs out of the box, which might be a deal breaker for a lot of people.
