Micromax Canvas Spark 3 (Q385) launched in India


Micromax Informatics, leading Indian smartphone manufacturer, finally launched the all new 3G-enabled Canvas Spark 3 smartphone in India at INR 4999. This is a new entrant in the company’s best-selling Canvas Spark series line-up of devices, which includes Canvas Spark and Canvas Spark 2. It will be available to buy from Snapdeal via a flash sale method starting April 7. Registrations for the first sale however, will commence from April 1 at 12 Am. The newest member of the Canvas Spark Family comes with a bigger and better display, more RAM, higher resolution camera, double the inbuilt storage, a bigger battery, and more.

The Canvas Spark 3 flaunts 5.5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz Spreadtrum SC7731 quad-core processor paired with 1GB DDR3 RAM. It packs 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. To impress music enthusiasts, the Canvas Spark 3 includes 1.5CC Box 2509 speakers.

On the imaging front, it is equipped with an 8MP autofocus rear camera with 720p video recording, and a 5MP fixed focus selfie camera up front. It also features 1.5CC Box 2509 dual-speakers, and connectivity options like Dual SIM (micro) card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack and microUSB 2.0. The device backed by a 2500mAh battery which gives you up to 280 hours of backup in standby mode.

On the software front, the Canvas Spark 3 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, and it is also pre-loaded with apps like Quikr, Hike, OLX, Skype, Snapdeal, Amazon, Kindle, CM Security, Opera Mini, Gaana and more. In addition, it comes with Indus launcher where you can chat in one of the ten pre-loaded regional languages.
