Following the global price cut, the Chinese startup OnePlus has slashed down the price of OnePlus 2 in India too. The so-called “2016 flagship killer” is available starting from INR 20999 for 16GB model and INR 22999 for 64GB variant. The already affordable flagship became even cheaper to own. OnePlus 2 was announced as a successor to highly praised OnePlus One, but it failed to catch up with its predecessor’s success rate due to the half-baked Oxygen OS, weird invite system and increased competition from China’s big players. However, the OnePlus 2 managed to grab good attention from the people. Currently, the device is available from Amazon India at a new reduced price tag.
To remind you, the 5.5-inch device boasts 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution with 1500:1 contrast ratio. It is one of the earlier smartphones adopted the ‘controversial’ Snapdragon 810 chipset with Adreno 430 GPU. Again, OnePlus 2 was the very few smartphones shipped with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM at that time of release. It offers Dual nano SIM slot with no microSD slot support. The 13MP rear shooter with f/2.0 aperture is capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps and slow-motion videos at 120fps. There is 5MP front facing shooter with Wide-angle lens for selfies. OnePlus 2 also sports fingerprint sensor at the front, which can unlock the device from sleep without the need for any additional taps, works just like Nexus 6P. There is the 3300mAh battery that can be charged via USB Type-C.
OnePlus 2 actually packs a number of future-proof technologies, which made the hot device throughout 2015. The new price of the device made it a killer deal for the consumers especially, who are looking for the best device without paying the premium price. The Sandstone Black color is available from Amazon India at INR 20999 for 3GB RAM/16GB storage option and INR 22999 for 4GB RAM/64GB model. We strongly suggest OnePlus 2 for our readers. If you are looking for alternative models, there are Google Nexus 5X, Lenovo Vibe X3 with their own disadvantages.
