Motorola launches Moto G 3rd Gen in India

The wait is finally over, Motorola finally launched the Moto G 3rd Generation in India today. This new variant off course has brought some noteworthy upgrades and enhancements, what are these? lets find out!

On the spec front, the device has a 5-inch HD display similar to the one found on its predecessor the Moto G 2nd Gen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels translating to a pixel density of 294PPI, underneath the device, a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 CPU coupled with Adreno 306 GPU provides the brain power.
On the camera front, the device packs an 13MP rear camera sensor with f/2.0 lens aperture and a 5MP Selfie shooter with display flash. The device is backed by a 1GB/2GB of RAM with respective internal storages of 8GB and 16GB and the duo can be expanded up to 32GB with a microSD card slot and a 2470mAh battery

The handset has been certified as IPX7 waterproof which should survive some waterdips and the device also comes preloaded with some cool features like Moto Display, Quick Capture and Chop Twice. Connectivity includes 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth ver.4.0, GPS and GLONASS. The device will run on latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.

Pricing and Availability:

The new Moto G (2015) will be available on India’s popular e-commerce website Flipkart starting tonight with various launch and exchange offers. As per the pricing the 8GB version with 1GB of RAM will be priced at INR 11999 ($188) and the higher 16GB variant with 2GB of RAM will set you back at INR 12999 ($200).
