US based computer peripheral manufacturer HP has come up with a new tablet dubbed as HP Pro 608 with an 8-inch display and this is the company’s first tablet to come with Windows 10 pre-installed.
On the spec front, the tablet sports an 8-inch 4:3 display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels all protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass ver.4.0 and a Metal reinforced chassis. Under the hood includes a Intel’s newly launched Cherry Trail Atom Z8500 Quad-core CPU clocked at 1.44GHz paired with Intel HD graphics. The device backed by a 2GB or 4GB of RAM and storage options includes 32GB, 64GB and 128GB with a microSD card slot for expansion. Source
The tablet packs an 8MP rear camera without a flash and a front 2MP camera. It sports Dual-microphones for active-noise cancellation along with front facing Dual-Stereo speakers that integrated with DTA studio surround technology. HP has included a USB-Type C port on-board for faster charging speeds and data-transfer rates.
The tablet comes with HP Client Security and Touchpoint manager to provide advanced security features built right in to the OS. It also has an optional keyboard case, a portable travel dock with HDMI, dual-microphones for video-conferencing as well as Cortana to assist you all the times.
HP also promises 8 days of battery life with 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Wi-Di, Miracast, Bluetooth ver.4.0 and NFC includes set of connectivity options.
Pricing and Availability:
The tablet will be available starting July for a price tag of $479 which is the cost of base model with 2GB of RAM and loaded with Windows 8.1 Pro if you buy it in July. Want the latest version of Windows 10 then the Windows 10 slate starts from August.
