Finally, the much awaited Motorola Moto G 2nd Gen 4G was launched in India at a price tag of Rs 8999. Moto G has been a huge success for Motorola, which became evident when the company launched the 3G version of Moto G (2nd Gen) in India last year for a price tag of Rs 12999 which now, after several price cuts costs for INR 9999. 


As the name suggests the 4G model is no more than a 4G LTE version of the good old Moto G (2nd gen) but for a quick review lets go through the specs once again. The Moto G (2nd gen) 4G LTE has a Gorilla Glass v.3.0 protected 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels of resolution. The device is powered by a 1.2GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 CPU paired with Adreno 305 GPU, backed by a 1GB RAM and 16GB of ROM with a microSD card slot support.

The device sports an 8MP rear camera with an LED flash and a 2MP front-facing shooter. Connectivity includes Dual SIM (GSM + LTE), 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v.4.0, and GPS. It packs a 2390mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box but will soon be upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow later this year.

Pricing and Availability:

The Motorola Moto G (2nd Gen) 4G will come in Black and White color options, with a price tag of Rs 8999. The smartphone will be exclusively available on Flipkart starting 15 October 12am.
